The scale and quality of snow are at an unusual level for a Japanese
mountain. This ski area attracts skiers and snowboarders from all over Japan.
The skyline course has maintained a flat bahn except at the ridge area. So the
course is popular among beginners, too. The Ski Jumping Stadium at Hakuba is open
to the public except during the competition events and exercise days. Go there
and enjoy the stadium. Around there, there are hotsprings, which will heal your
bruises and reduce your fatigue, and also there are outdoor baths. |

Tsugaike ski area: 20 minutes by car
1.Rental Ski and other Equipments
We are tied-up with rental shops. (Delivery is also available) The fee is charged.
High performance rental skis areavailable. Various items can be rented such as
carving skis, snowboards, short skis, skiwear, and other attachments.

2. Distance to ski area
About 200 m, 3 minutes on foot to the nearest mountain .Usually our guests go
on foot from our hotel.

4. When does the ski area open? How long does it
remain open?
Usually most of the ski areas start to open from 1st of December.. The full area
opens from the middle of December till the beginning of April. In the upper area
you can enjoy skiing or snowboarding by the beginning of May.
5. Average amount of snowfall
The amount of snowfall is about 1.5 meters on the foot of the ski area. Snow accumulates
up to about 2 to 3 meters at the upper part of the ski area.
6. Transportation in winter
By car : You are recommended to use studless tires or snow chains for snow.
By pick-up service: You can use our transportation service at Hakuba station or
Happo bus stop. (reservation is required)
