There are 21 western-style rooms (bedrooms) in a large area of 6600 sq. m. There
are 4 tennis courts in the vestibule, for which rackets and balls can
be hired free of charges. In winter, you can enjoy skiing and snowboarding.
The location of the hotel is best for summer trekking in the North Alps. You
can bathe in the natural open-air bath in a beautiful forest environment. |

Hakuba is located on the foothills
of Northen Japan Alps, where the peaks rise to a height of 3000 m. Happo-one ski
area received international attention as the Nagano Olympics stage and was the
venue for the ski-jumping and cross country events. Hakuba is known as the birthplace
of guesthouses, as this resort area nestles fashionable guesthouses and pensions
in the white birch wood. While viewing the magnificent mountains in the Alps,
take a break and refresh your mind and body in Japanese style by visiting the
hot springs.

[Hakuba-shio no Michi-onsen (The hot spring of Hakuba-Shio-no-Michi)]
The natural hot springs, which has been confined in Fossa Magna for 2.5 million
years, comes in contact with air and turns brown. It is the sodium monochloride
and sodium hydrogen carbonate spa. The hot water specifically has a lot of saline
content. It is believed that the spa warms up your body from the core and provides
healing effect for skin diseases, poor circulation, atopic dermatitis and so on.
There are 4 outdoor baths: “Spa of garden”, “Spa of Kurashita”, “Spa of Iwatake”
and “Spa of Echo Land.”

Taking the bath in the natural forest with the scent of woods will refresh both
your mind and your body.
